We are requesting applications for a Chan Zuckerberg Initiative funded three years postdoc to participate in bioimaging research and teaching .
We are looking for a Ph.D. with experience in image processing, deep learning, and data analysis. Expertise in bioimaging (microscopy, medical imaging) is welcome but not exclusive. The candidate will participate in IMAGINA’s actions to drive the local community’s adoption of bioimaging analysis, expand the number of imaging experts in the field, and create new bioimaging knowledge to improve biomedical procedures. She/he will participate in developing and teaching courses in fundamentals and advanced topics on bioimaging processing for life scientists. IMAGINA is an interdisciplinary group integrated by researchers from the Schools of Engineering, Medicine, and Sciences at the Universidad de la República (Uruguay) that share their interest in Bioimages and microscopy techniques.
